What is recorded

Good means the street looks fine. Cracking means the asphalt is cracked. Pothole means the asphalt is broken. The desk does not ask for a repair cost, a treatment, or a replacement price.

Until someone records a street, it shows as Good. That is not a survey. It is the starting condition. The street list can filter to Not recorded so a cycle can still be finished.

The map follows the phone

Drive asks for location as soon as it opens. The map stays centred on the phone while Following is on. If you drag the map, following stops. Tap Follow me to centre it again. Leave the screen on while you record.

Where the data lives

Readings, the chosen place, and the cycle dates stay in this phone’s storage. Another phone does not see them. Send the Excel file to the address you chose. When the files are merged, keep the rows marked Yes and drop the rows marked No.

On a phone

On an iPhone, open the link in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On an Android phone, use the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. After that, open RAMS Road Desk from the icon.
